Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Jim & Vernetta Giguiere had 4 out of their 5 children at their home for Thanksgiving dinner. With kids, spouses, grand kids and friends there were 12 people in all. Of course there were only 11 people eating since Gracee only has 2 teeth!!! But a great time was had by all!!!!

Andrea (Will & Rhonda's daughter) had fun playing with her phone!!!

The table all set and ready to go!!
Carving the Turkey!!! Ready to eat!!!
Very Painful
On November 12th, Vernetta Giguiere fell at work and sustained quite a few injuries. She broke her finger, pulled the ligaments in her shoulder, and hurt her ankle. The next day she went to the doctor and found out her injuries were a little worse than she first thought. Her ankle is a spiral fracture in the bone all the way up to her knee. The first week she was bedridden except to use the bathroom. The second week she was in a wheelchair. Now she is able to walk with her walking boot and a walker. Her shoulder and finger are healing, and in about 4-6 months she should be good as new!!!

We all wish her a very speedy recovery!!!
Here are some pics of her black and blue ankle 2 weeks after she first hurt it and her new walking boot!!
We all wish her a very speedy recovery!!!

Simon's Baby Blessing
On June 29th Simon Hardman was blessed by his father Scott. Amanda says, "Scott did such a great job giving the blessing. He was really in tune with the spirit. Here is everyone that was in the circle (including the deacon who held the microphone).Bishop Trentman, Gary Jones (cousin), Ben (Scott's brother-in-law), Papa Hardman, Scott and Simon, Papa Vick, Logan (my brother-in-law, Eric (Scott's brother-in-law) and the deacon up front in Chancey (bishop's son). Thanks everyone for being there for this special occasion. After church, we had a luncheon at the house. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures."
Here are some other pictures from Simon's blessing day.

And here is just a cute picture that Scott & Amanda had taken of Simon.

Rector Family's New Home
At the end of June, Heather & Kenny Rector & family moved into their new home. They are still living in Auburn, and are enjoying every moment in their new home.

Mitch & Allie Evers & Family
Mitch worked all summer for a law firm in downtown Omaha. He is currently in his 3rd and final year of Law School. Allie says, "Mitch loves school and it is weird that in a year he will be graduated and we will be real grown-ups and he will start working full time."
Allie is busy being a mom to Jackson & Creighton. Which she says keeps her busy enough.
Jackson and Creighton are doing great. Jackson just got potty trained and he loves it and Creighton is learning to talk.

New Additions to the Farm
There have been some new additions to the farm over the last few months. Uncle David says it has always been a dream of Aunt Leesa's to own a Texas Longhorn. They named her Susy Q "because it just fit". Here is a picture of her and her calf.
Then there is Faith. Leesa bought her because she has a big heart!!!! David says, "We named her 'Faith', because we know there is a good cow there just needing some love and a good home. Any cow that makes it to the farm is guaranteed a happy remainder of her life."
And finally the newest addition is Mary the Milk Cow. She is a 4 year old Guernsey/Jersey, milk cow due to calf in 2 weeks.

Hello Giguiere Family
Hello Giguiere Family,
Some of you have asked me if I can e-mail the family newsletter to you. I found out that the files are just to big to e-mail them all together. So I decided that this would be the next best thing. I will still be publishing the quarterly issues of the family newsletter and mailing them out to all of you. But this is an additional way to get family news.
I am still new to blogging so check back often for updates and news!!! I will make posts and update new things as I learn them.
I am excited about this new form of communication!!! Please send in news for the newsletter and help keep these great things going!!!
